Imagine a water bottle so advanced, it may just start a fire for you on your next camping trip.
Okay, so the Hibear All-Day Adventure Flask won’t actually do that.. but it’s pretty close.
But it is SO VERSATILE that it’s like having a barista, a bartender, and a hydration guru all rolled into one adventure-ready package.
It’s more than just a bottle; it’s a symbol of your adventurous spirit, a tool for your explorations, and a reminder that the best parts of life are those we savor – one sip at a time.
We LOVE bringing it along on all our adventures. And we’re sure you’ll love it just as much as we do.
Read on to learn more about HiBear’s All-Day Adventure Flask. And learn how its unmatched utility can revolutionize your adventures.
Road Trippin’
There are currently 7 different versions of the Adventure Flask. They all have the same features but showcase different themes, prints, and colors.
We have Road Trippin’. It’s based on the story of a road trip through Moab, Zion, Joshua Tree, Death Valley, and the West Coast.
We LOVE these areas of the Western United States.
Plus, the beautiful blue color is the kind of blue that makes the sky jealous. IT’S SO PRETTY.
The Water Bottle
The All Day Adventure Flask stands out above the crowd for TONS of reasons (more about that later). But at its core, it’s an awesome insulated water bottle.
So let’s talk about the HiBear Flask’s body (don’t worry – we aren’t getting weirdly personal here).
The double-wall stainless-steel exterior isn’t just for show. It keeps our hot drinks hot, our cold drinks cold, and our lukewarm drinks…well, who wants lukewarm drinks anyway?
These walls are medical-grade stainless steel. Which means they’re cleaner than your eating habits on January 1st. No BPA’s, EAs, AAs or any other scary abbreviations you can think of.
Then the walls are covered in a durable powder coat and silicone sleeve that protects it from oopsie-daisies. It keeps the flask looking as fresh as the day you two first locked eyes and ready for whatever adventure may come your way.
Yes, I have dropped it several times. Yes, it still looks perfectly new.
And it’s all topped off with a screw-on lid that protects the mouthpiece and holds your drink.
I hate it when a water bottle has an exposed mouthpiece (that’s so gross). Nothing like dropping your water bottle on the ground and getting grit stuck in your teeth next sip.
I don’t have to worry about that with the Adventure Flask!
Piecing It All Together
Inside this seemingly simple water bottle lies a treasure trove of clever features, each with its own use.
Let’s dive into each piece and how they work. We’ll start from the bottom up and outside in.
TL;DR – All the pieces of the Adventure Flask work together in perfectly engineered harmony to enable you to make lots of different drinks. Whoever designed this thing is a GENIUS.
Silicone Sleeve
A silicone sleeve protects the flask and covers the seriously awesome print below. It isn’t just a fashion statement, though it does give the flask a certain je ne sais quoi.
It’s so much more.Â
The main function of the silicone sleeve is actually to be a cup. It slides off the bottom of the flask and is the perfect container for everything you can brew, mix, or drink with the HiBear.
Inside the silicone sleeve lies built-in measurements in both milliliters and ounces (see photo below).
No more guessing games or eyeballing measurements. This sleeve had our back in more ways than one.
Upper Flask
The upper part of the Adventure Flask is a true master of transformation. By day, it’s an unassuming part of your flask. But in the morning, it flips upside down to become a pour-over coffee cone.
Simply twist it off, turn it upside down, and screw it into the Tritan Cocktail Shaker piece (see below).
Now it’s ready to hold a paper filter to make the perfect cup of wilderness java.
Is this piece the answer to your caffeine prayers? Yes, it is.
All-In-One Tritan Cocktail Shaker
The all-in-one Tritan Cocktail Shaker is the middle piece that connects all the inner workings of the Adventure Flask.
It’s crafted from BPA-free, shatter-resistant Tritan. And it’s not just a cocktail shaker.
It’s the linchpin of your entire beverage operation.
It’s not very easy to explain, but it’s simple to use. We’ll do our best, so here goes nothing..
The unit sits inside the flask using a rubber gasket. It’s secure but not difficult to remove.
The top threads hold the inverted upper flask.
The two sets of lower threads hold the thermal core and strainer.
There are holes in the sides so you can pour cocktails out of the flask and into the silicone sleeve for drinking. These holes let the liquid through, but not the ice and drink mixings.
This will make WAY more sense once you get your Adventure Flask and see it in person.
BASICALLY, different combinations of the Tritan is what enables you to craft all different kinds of cocktails and brews.
Thermal Core
The thermal core screws into the Tritan so that it hangs down into your drink. Simply freeze it ahead of time for colder drinks.
It’s like having a mini iceberg on standby (minus the Titanic vibes).
Our drinks always have that Arctic chill without the TRADEGY of dilution.
Strainer
The strainer is the James Bond of beverage accessories. It’s sleek, sophisticated, and with a license to strain, it’s the secret weapon you never knew you needed.
I use it all the time for making the perfect cup of Yerba Mate tea. Even when I’m at home.
It’s also great for holding goodies for infused water like cucumber and mint or strawberries and lemon.
The Best Things to Make with the HiBear Adventure Flask
Now that you’ve learned about all the different pieces of the flask, it’s time to put them to work. Combine them in different variations to create the ultimate vessel for everything you could possibly think of.
These are all our favorite things to use the HiBear for beyond just drinking water:
- Pour Over Coffee
- Loose Leaf Tea
- Cold Brew
- Infused Water
- Cocktails
- Red Wine
Now let’s break down each of these drinks.
Pour Over Coffee
Pour over coffee is the #1 thing we love to use the HiBear for.Â
There are few things as epic as starting your morning right with a hot cup of coffee.
Just flip the upper part of the bottle, place a paper filter, add coffee grounds, and pour hot water.
You can pour the coffee into the silicone sleeve for sipping. Or leave it in the bottle to keep it hot for HOURS.
Note: Make sure you follow Leave No Trace with your coffee grounds. Pack them out, throw them away, or bury them according to local regulations.
Loose Leaf Tea
Tea is our second favorite use for the HiBear. And it’s easier than pitching a tent on a flat campsite with no wind.
Just put your loose leaf tea in the filter basket and pour in some hot water. You can even add a lemon wedge to make it fancier. Steep for 3-4 minutes then enjoy!
Cold Brew
For those who like their coffee like their winter expeditions – bold and cold – the cold brew function is a game changer.
Attach the thermal core to the strainer and Tritan. Then add coarsely ground coffee to the strainer and seal it. Put it in the flask and fill it with water.
Let the thermal core work its magic for 12-24 hours and you’ll have the smoothest cold brew ready to go.
Infused Water
You’re in the right place if drinking infused water in the wilderness brings joy to your taste buds.
Just toss herbs, fruit, or whatever whispers ‘refreshment’ to you into the filter basket. Fill the flask with water and let it sit for however long you like.
Cocktails
Shake up your outdoor experience with some wilderness cocktails. There’s an endless list of different concoctions you can throw together like a seasoned bartender!
Here are the steps for making a cocktail in the HiBear Adventure Flask:
- Add ice to the flask.
- Use the silicone sleeve to measure your parts.
- Pour into the flask.
- Put the strainer on top, followed by the lid.
- Shake it like you mean it.
- Pour into the sleeve and enjoy!
Pro tip:Â Use the thermal core to muddle fruits, herbs, sugar cubes, spices, and vegetables for a whole new level of cocktail mixing.
Decant Red Wine
The HiBear elegantly aerates red wine for wine aficionados.
Set up the flask like you would for pour-over coffee (but without the coffee filter). Pour the wine into the cone to filter sediment. Then put on the lower lid and let it sit to aerate. Pour into the silicone sleeve to enjoy!
